Envloop 017: Hillberg and Pleaks – Jungle Ride

Envloop´s new release is a kinda hommage to sweaty, funky 1970ies/1980ies Disco Groove songs such as Kinkina´s Jungle Fever, Kongas´Africanism or Masimbabele by The Unknown Cases.

Jungle Ride is a cooperation of Austro-Italian producer Hillberg and German electro house producer Pleaks, who have both been involved in electronic music for decades. The release comes with a spherical downtempo remix by Austrian artist Jaygroove. Jungle Ride is the new release from the classic and timeless German-Austrian electronic music label envloop records, known for its commitment to releasing only high-quality electronic music.

However, Jungle Ride walks this way with a charming Café del Mar vibe, that both sneaks into your ears and drives you onto the dancefloor. The bass played live by Andreas Schuberth in particular provides the necessary pressure.

Envloop 015: Radio Diffusion – The Disappeared E.P.

Finest House tunes from Austrian Indie hit producers Radio Diffusion – Hans Staudinger and Sebastian Bader. After their House anthem „BHVL“ on renowned label Compost they resurface on Envloop Records with their new EP „The Disappeared“. The tune reflects the band´s recent years: Based on one of their mind-blowing tunes from their live set, the samples and elements were lost after a gig – but, reconstructed, „The Disappeared“ re-appeared step by step on their DAW for this release.
The remix comes from Hannover, Germany based artist Pleaks: a musical electronic music jewel adding a surprising twist to the original.
Last but not least „Cross the Floor“ completes the EP´s pick of Radio Diffusion works: An especially unique take on classic Disco-House, which comes both as an instrumental and a vocal version, featuring guest artist Giorgio Merano (aka Hillberg) from Austrian cult act Hillberg and D-Tex.

Electro-House with „earworm“-potential and a special trap-drop: German artist Mightiness new E.P. „Zauberhaft“ blends his skills as a Drum&Bass-producer with his love for catchy Electro-House anthems. „Magical“ would be the E.P. title´s literal translation into English, and this is, what his new release is. “Black Dog Rock EP” – Finally, Frozen Smoke’s first single release on envloop records. Known for his remixes with a hard electro twist, Frozen Smoke stays true to his style also on this release. Hailing from Vancouver now San Francisco based ill-esha burst onto the North American electronic scene as a soul vocalist featured on various releases for the likes of Breakbeat Science, Fokuz, and BluSaphir. Her multi-dimensional approach spans Glitch-Hop, Dubstep and Downtempo, which has set ill-esha apart amidst some of electronic music’s most groundbreaking acts: Releases on trendsetting labels as Muti Music, Daly City, Haunted Audio, Dub Police and many more are amongst the landmarks of her career. Catching the ears of our audience with outstanding remixes for envloop NYC based artist I-Cue now debuts with his first own release.
